It is with a sad heart that one of our members has passed away during the year.
Don McLennan, after a long illness succumbed to cancer.
It was pleasing to see that Dorothy made the effort to attend the reunion.
The weekend began, as it normally does with the golfers attempting to have a successful round despite the onset of age related restrictions.
Those that arrived on Friday settled in and had their evening meal at the Cats Bistro where ample sized meals we enjoyed. Particularly the pork chops ordered by Heather McCann.
Saturday morning was taken up by the ladies shopping, not once but multiple times.
Saturday evening was the official dinner at the Mercure Hotel preceded by canapes a plenty.
Our bus trip on Sunday was to Point Cook air base Museum and on to Werribee Precinct for a quick look around the area.
Lunch was 'found' after being lost in transit at the Brook on Steynes restaurant.
All in all another great weeken!
It was resolved that the next reunion would be held in Wangaratta with the assistance of Ron and Heather Hearn.
